The Beach...My Favorite Place
My favorite place is the beach. It doesn't matter what beach, as long is it is warm and sunny. Since I was little my parents have been taking me to the beach for vacations. Oddly enough, I used to absolutely hate it! Now I can't get enough of it. For me it is the greatest vacation spot to just escape everything.

I agree about the beach, Ali! There are people who have posted pictures of beautiful snowy mountains, and it's true, the snow and the mountains are beautiful... but to RELAX, I pick the beach too! Kids don't really need to relax, but I think all of us grown-ups need to relax a lot more than we do... and I would gladly do that at the beach. I'm thinking a good book, an iced coffee, and the sound of those waves... YES!
ReplyDeleteAli, the beach is definitely a nice place to relax and just have some fun! I remember visiting San Diego and going to a beautiful white sand beach. It was so relaxing and calming. I can't wait to return and enjoy myself all over again. I'm sure you're looking forward to that moment as well. Maybe we'll run into each other! Never know.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your family has fantastic vacations. I would love to visit the beach again sometime, I have not been in ages. It's something I especially long for now as the semester starts to get really busy. I can also see why you might have hated it when you where little. When I was younger I wanted to constantly do things, and sitting still and just relaxing was extremely boring. Ah, how things change.
